Just updated the website of Andrea Hunter of Focus on Felt.

She has a new book out and available now called Creating Felt Pictures which will be launched at the Biscuit Factory in Newcastle on the 14th April.

Other updates include her Workshops this August are all now fully booked, and she has updated some of her work that is available and a date when this years new work will be available.

Have a look at focusonfelt.co.uk

Wordpress 3.3 has just been allowed out into the wild, so I have just updated my viewsof.co.uk website, having backed it up first using the BackupWordpress plugin. (note: for Joomla I use Akeeba Backup)

Then run an automatic update on the site. So far so good a nice new dashboard and even popups to say whats changed. It also works with the Artisteer theme, so the sites still there.

Just had another re-write of this website, as I`ve been doing quite alot of work recently with both Wordpress and Joomla it was decided to update this site using one of these. I eventually chose Joomla (v1.7) as I have an idea of trying to use VirtueMart in the future to sell some photographs instead of using the service of clikpic for the dalesmediaphoto website and merging the two sites together.

Also I wanted to add a news and updates section and a hints and tips page to the site. A CMS style of site seemed to suit this as it is easier to administer than a Dreamweaver style static site. It will also help with my on-going education with website design and management to be doing it with my own content.

Just updated flairsandgraces.co.uk website, changed the site to use Wordpress from a static Dreamweaver site. It means they can update the site whenever they wish without looking too much like a blog and hopefully turn it into a full online shop in the future.

I used Artisteer for the Theme and the original look of the site seems to have transfered well to a more CMS style system.

Just recently updated the website for the Moorcock Inn near Garsdale Railway station.

All the new Winter Menus and opening times are on there.  www.moorcockinn.com

Hawes and High Abbotside Angling Association

Just been working on a website for the Hawes and High Abbotside Angling Association. They have just had an article written about the area in the Trout and Salmon magazine and thought that they had better get upto date with a website to inform anyone about the Association that had read the article and to provide information to vistors to the area around Hawes.

The web address if your interested in fishing in the Upper Dales of Yorkshire is www.hhaaa.co.uk
